Biography
I am a programmer and college student at Georgia Tech, in Atlanta, Georgia. This is my first major foray into web design using modern tools such as php and css. I am most of the way though my bachelor’s in Computer Science.
There are many programming topics that interest me, but I’m most concerned with windows programming, the .Net framework, and multi-monitor setups. Thanks to this site, I’ll probably add php, css, and rss to the list of things I’m familiar with.
Hobbies
While technology is my hobby and profession, digital art, photography, writing, and video games also interest me. I have an extensive gallery of art, some of which is available for sale. I worked for The Technique for a while as a writer and a copy editor.
At the intersection of all of those interests lies digital rights and politics. Issues such as DRM, network neutrality, wiretapping, et cetera concern me. Therefore, I’m a member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. For those who don’t know, it’s the nerd version of the ACLU. Anyone who uses technology (and who doesn’t, these days?) should at least subscribe to their newsletter.
