This is a list of items Hillary wants; her birthday is on April 29.
[edit] Instructions
If you decide to buy her an item, please mark it as claimed:
- Click the [edit] link to the right of the item name
- Change "No" to "Yes"
- Click save
- Claiming is anonymous.
- Hillary will not look at this page after Dec 1 (honor system)
- Please don't make changes to the page unless you are claiming/unclaiming or fixing a link.
- Priority is on a 1 to 10 scale.
- Hillary will like pretty much anything from thinkgeek.com if you don't find a satisfactory gift on this page.
- Hillary's Amazon.com wish list is here. She would like you to know that buying used books as gifts is perfectly ok with her, and in fact, she encourages it if it will save you money.
[edit] Size information
Actually buying me clothes might pose a problem, as sizing is a difficulty for me. However, there are a few brands that I know what fits, and a few items that don't fluctuate size-wise across brands. Otherwise, it's probably best not to bother. If you need my measurements, email me; I'm not posting them on the internet.
- Jeans: Levi or L.E.I. - 7 Short. Any other brands - see "Tailored Pants."
- Tailored pants: Old Navy - 4 Short; Express - 6 or 8 Short. Otherwise, don't bother unless you've seen me try them on. I have pairs in every size from 2 to 8 in different brands, and they're all physically the same size.
- Knit shirts: Women's fitted knits, sweaters or "babydoll" Ts - Medium (unless from Old Navy, then small. They run big. So do a few other brands. If it looks like it might be too big, it probably is.)
- Tailored shirts: Usually small, but sometimes medium, especially if it looks small in the bust area. (Are you beginning to see my problem here?)
- Pajamas: Small
- Knit pants (or anything with a stretchy or drawstring waistband): Small
- Jackets/Coats: Plenty of room for my shoulders to move and still close around my bust. Usually 6-8/Medium for anything that buttons or doesn't stretch (like blazers), Small for anything that's leather or has "give" (like fleece).
- Shoes: 7M usually, unless the brand/style is known to run small. Athletic shoes always run small: Adidas - 8-8.5, Nike - 8, New Balance - 8
[edit] Beatles Rock Band
- Price: $53.99
- Link: Amazon.com listing
- Notes: There's a bundle that comes with Beatles-replica Rock Band instruments. All I *really* want (in addition to the actual game) is the Hofner bass. Unfortunately, it's not *actually* sold separately at the moment. It may never be. Andrew suggested E-bay.
- Claimed: no
[edit] Dublin Dr Pepper
- Price: $10/case of 24
- Link: Old Doc's (The official online distributor for the bottling plant in Dublin, TX, so they're legit.)
- Notes: This Dr Pepper is special because it's made with cane sugar instead of corn sweetener. To say that it is much better and entirely worth the little bit of extra money would be an understatement.
- Claimed: No
[edit] Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens
[edit] 58mm Rubber Lens Hood
- Price: $4.95
- Link: Adorama.com

- Anything on my Amazon Wishlist. I don't see the point in copying its full contents over here.

[edit] Stamps
- Price: $1
- Link: USPS
- Description: I just came across a relatively large quantity of 37-cent stamps in the process of looking for something else, and I don't want them to go to waste. Good stocking stuffer, buying stamps is a relative pain in the butt for me. Postage rates kept going up so fast recently, I'm stuck holding like, 3 books of 37 cent stamps, because I don't mail things that often.

- Links: Women's Dress Pattern Sciences Insignia Lieutenant Rank Braid
- Color: Blue
- Size: Per my measurements. 9/10 per the pattern looks the closest.
- Priority: 9
- Notes: This is all for the costume that I'd like to have done in time for Dragon*Con (Labor Day weekend). The fabric needed for the costume is a lightweight velour, which I found online at $6.95/yard, but might be able to be found in a store for less. It looks like the pattern requires 6 yards of 45" fabric or 4 yards of 50" fabric (if I read the very tiny image of the pattern envelope correctly!) Nanny said she'd help me "build" it.
